During my stay in Santa Marta, I chose Casa Gaitana - Alma Hotels for its convenient location. Being situated in the old town, it allowed me to easily explore the vibrant streets and immerse myself in the local culture. I appreciated the fact that this hotel is only a short distance of 20 km away from Simon Bolivar International Airport. This made my transit journey hassle-free and saved me valuable time.
Although Casa Gaitana - Alma Hotels offered a pleasant stay overall, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. being in the middle of the old town, the noise from outside was quite loud, especially during the weekends.

The rooms at Casa Gaitana - Alma Hotels in Santa Marta are equipped with a private bathroom and free toiletries. The air-conditioned double room has a cozy feel with a flat-screen TV and streaming services. The spacious suite offers a separate bedroom and a living room, making it perfect for families like us. Plus, some units even have a balcony for that beautiful view.
Personally, we didn't particularly enjoy the wardrobe in the suite. But hey, that's just our opinion and others may find it useful.

The breakfast was so amazing that I almost forgot about the concierge service they offered. And oh, let's not forget the room service, which made me feel like a queen in my own room.
I mean, do they really think I have time to watch TV? Who needs entertainment when you can listen to the "charming" music from the nearby bars at night?
